Snap Word Cards

on November 17, 2015

Looking for a better way to help your students with sight words? I found these gems last year and they made a huge difference for a few of my students and I am using them this year with a few of my kinders. The great thing about these cards is that they attach a visual, auditory and movement cue to each word.

Each card has a picture, a hand motion and a sentence that goes along with the word. This is really powerful for our kids who don’t learn in just one way! You can go to the website (linked on the first image) for a free printable sample or I have the first 3 sets in the intervention center if you want to try some out. They are pretty reasonable price-wise if you want to invest in your own set after you try them. 🙂 Happy reading!
